Right now, due to the small size of Randomized, were limiting operatives to only Oak Park residents. So if you live in Oak Park or nearby suburbs, hit up are Contact Us page and drop us a message. We will also have a mailing list available by request.
The only requirement? Being able to keep a straight face.
Is there an age limit?
None at all, all ages are welcome to participate. We only ask that you are able to keep the secret until the actual event.
But, if your on our black list to bother showing up.
Aren't you just a copy of the flash-mobs?
No, Randomized is unique, originally based off of Improv Everywhere, Randomized has grown into its own, unique organization bent on causing scenes of chaos in public areas. We do more than that though, we cause pranks of mass-hilarity to the utter enjoyment of our readers and operatives.
How did it start?
We were just students wanting to do comedy. That's at the heart of this group, to cause those hilarious scenes. That's why we started. It was actually started over lunch on October 1st, 2010 when me and a bunch of friends came up with this idea of Randomized. It evolved from there. Are first mission was quite an interesting one, involving the first members of Randomized on Lake Street, Oak Park, IL.
What's with the 'You Have Been Randomized' after each operation?
You want a candid answer? We wanted to be unique, not confused with other groups. So after each successful and hilarious operation we will, the next day, put YOU HAVE BEEN RANDOMIZED somewhere in the Operation's boundaries. We hope one day that the phrase will be some what of a prize to have.
I have an idea, can you do it?
Sure, just go to the contact us page and send us your idea. If it's good, we'll do it, no doubt about that. Just make sure it's not against the law, illegal isn't part of our doctrine.
Can you do a prank on my friend? Or help me ask out someone?
Sure! We love to do personalized requests, once again, just visit our Contact Us page and drop us the idea and we'll get to you as soon as possible. We have the right to decline, but we will try to do our best in helping you out.
